You're begging for a Milk Bone
Your tail's wagging 'round
You ain't no pure bred poodle
I saved you from the pound

You're 81 in dog years
Your coat is gray
You crapped on my kitchen floor
And you're always in the way

You're barking at the mailman
He jumped out of his sack
I said "I'm sorry," as I tried to hold you back

The mailman's hand is bleeding
He says he'll sue
Sometimes I wonder why
I don't get rid of you

Bad dog - ain't worth nothing
Bad dog - you ain't no use
Bad dog - you ain't worth nothing
I can't teach new tricks to you

Bad dog - ain't worth nothing
Bad dog - you've had your day
Bad dog - you ain't worth nothing
But I like you anyway

I brought a girl to my house
And you began to beg
She kicked you away
And then you bit her on the leg

She ran out screaming
Knocked the basket off my shelf
I guess you wanted to have me all to yourself

You chewed my table leg
And you chewed my chair
And when you were shedding
I wade through a sea of gray dog hair

You ain't no Lassie
And you ain't no Rin-Tin-Tin
You remind me of Old Yeller
'Cause sometime I want to shoot him

Bad dog - ain't worth nothing
Bad dog - you ain't no use
Bad dog - you ain't worth nothing
I can't teach new tricks to you

Bad dog - ain't worth nothing
Bad dog - you've had your day
Bad dog - you ain't worth nothing
But I like you anyway
