History & Notes:  Some of these recordings were captured live (as denoted by the applause after a few tracks), so there's no telling how many other songs were actually recorded during this period.  At this time, the band's line up included Jay Clifford, Matthew Bivins, Evan Bivins, and Christopher Pollen.  It should be noted that future J,LC member Ward Williams plays on some of these tracks, as well as their friend Tim Connell (who compiled this tape for release).  The Jump, Little Children cassette was made available at shows for the asking price of ten dollars.  When the band started to release CDs, they asked people not to distribute this cassette anymore.  Some of these songs were written by Jay for his Charles Waters Folk Oratorio project during his NCSA days.
